Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Dar Es Salaam
Meet with our guide at Dar Es Salaam International
Airport and transferred to the hotel for Dinner and
overnight.
Day 2: Dar Es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast depart by 4 wheel-drives to Selous
Game Reserve. Arrive Selous at 14:00 in the afternoon
then Lunch at Mbega Tented Camp. In the afternoon
you will go for a boat Safari along the mighty Rufiji
River where you will have an advantage to see Hippopotamus
and crocodiles. The Rufiji river boasts africa’s
highest concentration of Hippopotamus. Overnight at
Mbega tented Camp.
Day 3:
Breakfast at Mbega tented Camp. Full day game view
drive of Selous Game Reserve.
Selous is the Africa's largest wildlife sanctuary
with an area of 54,600 sq km is bigger that Denmark
and 4 times the size of Serengeti. It has the World's
largest number of big game - elephant, buffalo, rhino;
sable antelope. Selous also contains wildebeest, eland,
giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, hippo, leopard
and lion. There are about 350 species of birdlife.
Picnic lunch on the way: Dinner and overnight at Mbega
tented Camp.
Day 4: Walking Safari
This safari allows an intimate impression of the African
bush and wildlife, which is unforgettable and brings
you closest to pristine nature. Your guide together
with the park ranger they will escort you and explain
about everything you will meet with during the walking.
Lunch at the Camp and you might choose to relax at
the lodge or go for the afternoon boat Safari. Overnight
at Mbega tented Camp.
Day 5: Cultural tour – Dar Es Salaam.
Today after the breakfast you will visit Mloka village
Cultural village which is about 10 min drive northern
of Selous. At Mloka you will be exposed to the traditional
and culture of the Ndengereko People. The tour will
includes; visit to the tradition Iron workers, visit
to the traditional dancers where you will have a privilege
to involve into the dance, visit to the local canoes
makers, local factory for souvenirs making and baskets.
Lunch at Mbega tented Camp then en-route to Dar Es
Salaam. Overnight in the Hotel in Dar.

The Cost include
All transfer done during the safari, Boat safaris
along the might rufiji river, Park entrance and conservation
fee. Accommodation on safari and in Dar Es Salaam.
Mineral Water during the safari will be provided.
Note accommodation at Mbega tented camp is for Full
Board Basis but Accommodation in Dar Es Salaam is
on Bed and Break Fast Basis.
