Elephants at Selous Game Reserve:

 

Meet with our guide at Dar Es Salaam International airport or Ferry and transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 1: Dar Es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
In the morning depart for by 4 wheel-drives to Selous Game Reserve. Arrive Selous at 14:00 in the afternoon then Lunch at Mbega Tented Camp. In the afternoon you will go for a boat Safari along the mighty Rufiji River where you will have an advantage to see Hippopotamus and crocodiles. The Rufiji river boasts africa’s highest concentration of Hippopotamus. Overnight at Mbega tented Camp.

Day 2: Selous full day game drive
Breakfast at Mbega tented Camp with picnic Lunch you will go for a full day game in the amazing Selous.

Selous is the Africa's largest wildlife sanctuary with an area of 54,600 sq km is bigger that Denmark and 4 times the size of Serengeti. It has the World's largest number of big game - elephant, buffalo, rhino; sable antelope. Selous also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, hippo, leopard and lion. There are about 350 species of birdlife. Picnic lunch on the way: Dinner and overnight at Mbega tented Camp.

Day 3: Half day game drive
Today you will continue with the half day game drive lunch in at the lodge then en-route back to Dar Es Salaam.
