Safari itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Leave Arusha at 8:00 am for Lake Mnyara National Park. Drive across the Ardai Plains and climb the western wall of the Great Rift Valley to reach your Hotel Built on the edge of the escarpment where your picnic lunch will be taken. Drive to the park for the game viewing. The tropical forest offers you a remarkable variety of wildlife. The tree climbing lions are one of the main attractions of this park. At 3 pm enroute to Ngorongoro Conservation area where you will spend a night at Ngorongoro Sopa/Serena Lodge.


Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation area and the Crater
After an Early breakfast a 4-wheel drive vehicle will take you 670 m. ( 2,000 ft) down to the crater floor for your half day game viewing. Known as “AFRICA’S GARDEN OF EDEN” these 160 sq. km. of plains, wooded slopes and small lakes, offer you a wide variety of game, including eland, gazelle and other small game on the plain and the “BIG FIVE”, closer to the wooded slopes and waterholes. The lake shores are largely occupied by lesser flamingoes as well hippos. Return to the Lodge for lunch and en-route to Arusha.
