3 Days to Gombe

Day 1: Arrive at Kigoma

At 13:55 Depart from Dar es Salaam for Kigoma; Pick up from the airport. Transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. Accommodation at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel (HB).

Day 2: Kigoma – Gombe Chimpanzee Tracking

After breakfast at the hotel depart for Gombe National Park by boat, proceeds with game viewing/ chimpanzee tracking and climb to the Kakombe water falls; lunch at the camp, followed by afternoon at leisure; Dinner at the Gombe Forest Lodge.

Day 3: Return to Dar es Salaam

Morning breakfast and return to Kigoma by Boat; after lunch rest till 16:00 when you will drive to the airport for Schedule 17:05 flight to Dar es Salaam.

5 Days to Gombe and Mahale

Day 1: Arrive in Kigoma

Arrive in Kigoma, pick up from the airport and transferred to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel for  Dinner at Sangara restaurant

MAHALE MOUNTAIN

Day  2: Transfer to Mahale National Park

Breakfast at the hotel; Morning departure to Mahale National Park by Special boat; visit the Mahale Park Information Center at Park H/Quarters; Lunch at the camp and afternoon at leisure; Dinner and bonfire at Nkungwe luxury tented camp

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari

Breakfast at the camp followed by game viewing / chimpanzee tracking in the forest till lunch break, return to the camp for lunch. After lunch game viewing by boat on the Lake (Birds, Hippos etc) Dinner and bonfire at Nkungwe Luxury tented camp

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari- fishing Trip

After breakfast start with game viewing / chimpanzee tracking in the forest, afternoon lunch at the camp, and then fishing by boat on the Lake (2 to 3 hours). Dinner and bonfire at Nkungwe Luxury tented camp

Day 5: Return to Kigoma

After early breakfast at the camp departure for Kigoma by Special boat; Lunch at Sangara restaurant and afternoon at leisure. Dinner at Sangara restaurant within Kigoma hilltop Hotel

GOMBE STREAM

Day 6 Transfer to Kigoma

After breakfast at the hotel departure to Gombe National Park by boat, proceeds with game viewing/ chimpanzee tracking Climb to the Kakombe water falls; Lunch at the camp, followed by afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the Gombe Luxury Tented Camp

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari- Climb to the Jane’s Peak

Start with breakfast at the camp, and then chimpanzee tracking; climbing up to the Jane’s peak. Return for lunch at the camp; and afternoon at leisure; Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari- Kigoma

Breakfast at the camp, chimpanzee tracking; after lunch departs for Kigoma by boat; Accommodation in Kigoma Hilltop Hotel.

Day 9: Leaving Kigoma

Breakfast at the hotel and rest, afternoon transfer to the airport for Schedule 17:55 flight to Dar es Salaam.

7 Day Chimpanzee tracking at Mahale and Gombe National Park

Day 1: Depart from Dar es Salaam - Kigoma

At 13:45 leave Dar es Salaam for Kigoma with PrecisionAir. Arrives there at 17:15, pickup and transfer to Hilltop Hotel for dinner and overnight on Executive room

Day 2: Mahale National Park

Morning departure to Mahale National Park by boat; visit the Mahale Park Information Center at Park H/Quarters; Lunch at the camp and afternoon at leisure; Dinner and bonfire at Nkungwe luxury tented camp

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari & Game Viewing by Boat

Breakfast at the camp followed by game viewing / chimpanzee tracking in the forest till lunch break, return to the camp for lunch; After lunch or track again/forest walking or game viewing by boat (Birds, Hippos etc); Dinner and overnight  at Nkungwe Luxury tented camp

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari

After breakfast start with game viewing / chimpanzee tracking in the forest; afternoon lunch at the camp, and then at leisure at the beach Dinner and overnight at Nkungwe Luxury tented camp

Day 5: Return to Kigoma

After early breakfast at the camp departure for Kigoma by boat; Lunch at Sangara restaurant and afternoon at leisure; Dinner at Sangara restaurant within Kigoma hilltop Hotel

Day 6: Transfer to Gombe Stream National Park.

After breakfast departure to Gombe National Park by boat, proceeds with game viewing/chimpanzee tracking Climb to the Kakombe water falls; Lunch at the camp, followed by afternoon at leisure. Dinner at the Gombe Luxury Tented Camp

Day 7: Chimpanzees Tracking Safari

Breakfast at the camp, then Game viewing / chimpanzee tracking climb to the Jane’s peak at the park; Return for lunch at the camp; and afternoon at leisure; Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari – return to Kigoma/Dar

Breakfast and then return to Kigoma, after lunch and rest transfer to the airport for 17:55 schedule flight to Dar es Salaam. It is better to be in Dar es Salaam for your night flight than to be in Kilimanjaro. Since the flight from Kigoma arrives Dar at 20:00 and there is no flight to connect to Kilimanjaro Airport.
